The CLAC EXPO was held in Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center between Nov. 9 to Nov. 11 2017.

The theme of the EXPO is “Truly Connected” and the EXPO is hosted by China Chamber of International Commerce organized by the Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone – Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai.
523 different companies and organizations from 24 Latin-American counties and 33 counties and regions along “Belt and Road” initiative had participated in the EXPO.
This large-scale high-level high-popularity EXPO had push the economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchange between China and Latin America to the global vision.
3 mean exhibition areas had been hold during the EXPO: China-LAL Cooperation Exhibition Area Guangdong – Hongkong – Macao Greater Bay Area Exhibition Area Latin American Specialty Exhibition Area. There were more than 10 major themed activities were held and more than 2000 guests from all over the world was invited.
During the EXPO President Juan Carlos Varela of Panama and former President Eduardo Alfredo Juan Bernardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle of Chile sent their congratulation through video. 16 Ambassadors from Latin America counties attended the opening ceremony. Many related government leaders and popular characters from economic and cultural filed also participated in the EXPO such as Dong Qian hostess of CCTV Dong Mingzhu Chairman of Gree Electric Appliances Inc. of Zhuhai Li Dongsheng Chairman and CEO of TCL Corporation Xiang Wenbo CEO of SANY Heavy Industry CO.
